I just had a huge scare! I haven't used the doppler in about a week because we have been extremely busy. So, I decided to this morning to see how the little babe is doing. I ate breakfast first to wake baby up and tried to find the heartbeat. NO LUCK. I am thinking that I am almost 18 weeks, so baby should be bigger and easy to find. After searching for about 10 minutes, I moved the wand up higher for the heck of it. Thump, thump, thump! SWEET SOUND! I can't believe that the baby is almost up to my belly button! Total shock! I think s/he was sleeping though because I held the wand there for a little while because it sounded so good after a little freak out and they weren't moving around.
Time is flying by! I have my mid way ultrasound on Thursday already! That means I am almost 1/2 way there!!! I can't wait to meet this little Torgy!
We are pretty much finished moving my grandparents into their new apartment at the retirement community in town here. Ethan and I are going with them to the old house tomorrow to help with the final scraps left.
We had inventory at my work yesterday, so I have been working like crazy to get ready for it all. I work tonight then I am off until Saturday! YAY!
I guess everything is starting to calm down (for now) so I will have more time at home to do my housewifey stuff. In late April, early May, we will be busy again with Ryan's grandma's big move (to the same retirement community as my grandparents) then, we are hosting a HUGE garage sale around the end of May, early June.
I am so excited that we have been getting warmer weather! Can't wait for spring!
