It seems that work has kidnapped my husband. He is allowed 1 meal with his family and can only be at home to eat said meal and sleep. I have been promised, however that he may return (mostly unharmed) after 5 on Friday.
I am SO bored without him! He has been working SO much. Friday, he stayed until 10! We were very busy on Saturday with 2 birthday parties- meaning I really didn't get to spend too much time with him (except the Saturday evening movie The Blind Side which was awesome!) Then on Sunday, he went to work again. I can't wait until this weekend is here! I have to mention that his job is usually M-F 8(30)-5. I am spoiled with that!
The baby has been doing great and I have been feeling very good. I feel kicks or movement pretty much every hour or so. Ethan is the cutest 3 1/2 year old ever! He constantly hugs and kisses the baby! He has a Toy Story bandaid over his hand because he thought it would be "cool" to break a plastic hanger, and he scratched his hand. So, today or was it yesterday? Oh well, he puts his hand up to my belly and says to the baby "see my cool toy story band-aid?" then he looks at me and says "do you think the baby can see it?" I said with a giggle "no honey, mommy's tummy is in the way" LOL! Isn't he just the cutest?!!
The weather has been pretty nice the past 2 days, so I had a great idea to rake up all the sticks in our (1 acre) yard yesterday. It took about 2 hours and I am really paying for it today. I am so sore! The yard looks great, but I don't think I will be putting in that much manual labor for a while :-) I am looking forward to starting our vegetable garden and potting flowers though!!!! I am just waiting for the weather to get just nice enough that it won't frost over at night! I'll make sure to upload pictures! I took some last year, but I don't think I ever put them on here. I'll be sure to this year!!
