Even though I feel sick all the time and can hardly eat, I love my life. I have a crappy job, and am still trying to buy my first house, but my life is the best! Why, might you ask??? Because I have the bestest husband and son, and in March, we will have a beautiful baby.
Question for all the preggos out there: when did your nausea (if any) finally taper off? I am so ready to be done with the sickies (but glad to have it too- so bittersweet!)

Well, you already know my answer to this, but I'll post it anyway!
Between 20-22 weeks, I believe! It was awful up to then, and now that I am 27 weeks, slight nausea has started in again - ugg!
Hopefully it won't last too much longer for you! 12 weeks at the most, please! If not sooner...
Hang in there!
I think you already know my answer too...
I started zofran at 8 weeks and tried to ween twice once at 12 weeks and again at 13. At 14 I stopped taking it, threw up once and then just took B6 and unisom. Then I got nauseous again at 18 weeks for a good week... ever since then I've been golden! It's just nasty heartburn I'm dealing with!
Yay for sickies!! I hope you can start eating more! What tricks are you trying?
Hi, you don't really know me, but I was on the TTC boards for a while and got pregnant in June of last year, but I still lurk over there and pray for everyone to get their babies.
I had nausea from the very beginning until 14 weeks, after that I got it off and on and still had a few food aversions, but it was much better. Like you, I hated being sick, but I loved it at the same time because it meant that everything was doing what it was supposed to be doing!
Just want to say congrats!!!
Seems that for those 'regular folk' the nausea or vomiting goes away by 12-15 weeks or so. Sounds like you already had some unlucky folks like me chime in that it lasts longer than that for some of us! I dealt with it the *whole* time, both pregnancies. And while I hated it and was miserable--I was so excited those first several weeks that it carried me through! After about week 18 though--I was just plain crabby about it! lol! I so very much can relate to your feelings of bliss, and I'm just so happy for you! My long awaited baby #2 is such a joy :o)
