Family update

I haven't written in a while and a lot has been going on in our house. First of all let's talk about the newest member:

Alexis is: Smiling every day and melting our hearts constantly, sleeping through the night since she was 2 weeks old! (6-7 hours!), she is starting to outgrow her newborn clothes already, she is still congested from a cold, but doing better, she is about 10# already! That's 4# in a month and a half! Lexi is holding her head up pretty good, but still can't keep it up of course and she is more alert during the day.

Ethan is: the best big brother ever! When Lexi is upset, he sings the Marley song "don't worry about a thing" (I don't know the exact name, but you get it; He started 4 year old kindergarten and goes every day! He still LOVES Toy Story and plays with his V-Reader constantly, and he loves art class, gym class and music class!

Ryan is: Very, very busy. He is working constantly, but loves to come home to his big family:-) He is such a great father, it brings tears to my eyes at how much I love him! We need to have a date night soon, because I haven't really talked to him in a while and it is nice to have those adult conversations that have NOTHING to do with poop! His freelance business is booming at the moment, so we both have been working hard while I was on maternity leave. He also needs a vacation soon. Even if we all stay in the hotel down the street :-)

I am: Doing well. I started back at work on monday. It went good, but it's hard to be away from my babies. I only work part time right now. We don't put the kids in day care because we are blessed to have TONS of family around! I have my 6 week check-up tomorrow morning. My incision is getting better. I have a bigger scar than most c-sections because of the emergency situation, but I think it looks ok and I hope my doctor thinks so too. Nursing Lexi has been great! She is a big eater and put herself on a schedule already, so I am on a schedule too. She sleeps so much at night that I have to pump every morning after she eats breakfast. I have a nice stock started for work. We started getting the nursery set up. I posted some pictures of the dresser Ryan fixed up on FB.

That's about everything now. We are staying very busy and having fun (mostly). My family ROCKS!
